Kicking off at 10am with a fab faux Byrds gig, culled from the There's A Season and The Byrds Box Sets,live at the Piper Club 1968,The Fillmore 1969,Royal Albert Hall 1971,The "Banjoman" project, The Roy Orbison tribute gig with Bob Dylan !, and the "Candy" Soundtrack…then a hugely appreciative nod to the Wild Honey Orchestra by spinning the songs performed at their recent fund raiser for autism by firstly broadcasting the Beach Boys originals then selected cuts from their spellbinding concert featuring such classic talents as Darian Sahanaja, Al Jardine,Debbi Peterson,Thomas Walsh,Nelson Bragg,Billy Hinsche,Scott Bennett,Probyn Gregory,David Marks, Cosmo Topper,Susan Cowsill,Brett Harris,Roger Manning Jr and Micky Dolenz, With the NHS just announcing a billion pound investment into all forms of mental health its fabulous to see our colonial cousins finding a way to find investment from the public purse,kudos to everyone involved.Then an afternoon of acoustic/unplugged beauty before our 8pm FB Friends and Wims World,everyone from Gary Knight, Todd Dillingham,Adi Mosko,Blackdoghat Singer-Songwriters,Nicky Coates,Annie Banannie,through to Richard Underscore and all points in between…busy busy day full of wunnerful music.
